Cables make the link between effects transport and get the audio signal into the audio interface from instruments, synthesizers etc. With all the wireless devices around these days or just the simple radio frequency, a well-made cable will transport the analog signal between your studio gear like a pipe. We all know that cables have resistance and different construction materials.
